I am a rectangle - pretty much straight up and down with no waistline definition.
I made the princess panel for a tee shirt I created for the Sandra Betzina web tv show I shot a couple of weeks ago. I used 2 inches of chest and hip ease and 1/2 inch waist ease. I was very pleased with the style. I thought it made me look curvier than I am. I also used the curved vee neck at 6 inches deep, kept the shoulder line at my shoulder point and dropped the sleeve cap height 1 inch. I got a very nice fitting sleeve that does not look too formal and gave me great arm movement.
I wore the chartreuse tee shirt on the show. I made the same style in black and will make a short straight skirt also in the same black fabric to make a very travel friendly "little black dress".
