New measurement videos, tutorial videos, and construction guides

We have created a new Style Catalog for v.4. You can now save your style settings to build your own Style Catalog. We added the ability to save photos or sketches and front and back views, fabric swatches, fabric description, and notes. We have also added the ability to import and export styles to and from your catalog so that you can share styles among yourselves. In addition, the style summary, photos, sketches, etc. will be saved to a rich text formatted file that can be opened and edited in Word.

Skirts We have added several new items for skirts including multiple gore and tier options, center front and center back box pleats, and center front and center back kick pleats. There is also now a setting for kick pleat height. We have need yoked skirt styles including pleats and a very pretty side drape and a new yoked waistline option. All skirt options will be added to Celebrations and Child's Play.

Blouses and Tops Additions to Blouses and Tops include a new curved vee neckline and a new princess panel dart option which has both a shoulder and armscye princess seam. You can also now choose front darts separately from back darts, i.e. you can choose a front shoulder princess and a back neckline princess, etc.

Defaults Each garment screen will now have Defaults tab that will display the current defaults for the garment type and measurement chart. All defaults have now been moved to one screen so that you can set them all at once. You will be able to save defaults for multiple garment types at one time. You can also choose to save defaults only for the current measurement chart or for all future charts until you change them. When you click on a default setting, a picture of that setting and a description will be displayed.

Summary On each garment screen, you will have a Summary tab that will show the current style settings, the current body measurements and the current finished garment measurements. I have also attached an RTF document of the new style summary. It will save to the rich text format and can now be opened in Word or othe word processors. At the bottom, will be an image of the front and back of the garment.

We have moved the seam allowance, facing width, and hem allowance settings to each design screen so that you can set those separately for each garment type.

We have added new print settings including Line Width and All to Black. We have also added the ability to not print the registration marks and row and column numbers for those of you printing to a plotter.

There is now a setting to always ungroup objects when opening the Pattern Editor and to always rotate patterns 90 degrees when opening the Yardage Calculator.
