You MUST INSTALL your program from your Download link or CD. You can't hotlink it from another computer or a backup folder.

You may have your program on two computers for your personal use.

When you get a new computer install using your CD or the download info you received when you purchased your program.

You may also install from the original setup file you downloaded. You want to save the setup file, not backup the installed program.

Then on the old computer go to Product Activation and lock your program. The program will generate a lock code on a notepad. Send that info to Support@wildginger.com.

Also, send your license ID. Just locking does not automatically reset your license. We need to do that.

Please sign your full name so we can verify we are resetting the correct license. If you registered under a different name, please let us know so we can keep the records up to date.

If you lose you program unexpectly - such as a HD failure and you need to install, but you are not able to send a lock code, write to support@wildginger.com and tell us the problem.

We can reset so it will unlock on that computer again. Remember, send us your license ID so we can easily locate your records.

Be sure to update your program once you have unlocked it. Do this from the program screen.

V5 Pattern Master Programs

You can copy and paste your database into the new computer. If you have backed it up copy and paste it into the main directory. Do NOT put in the directory called databases.

You will find an auto backup of your database in the folder called Databases and you may also use it. You need to change the name from PMxcharts to PMCharts and then put into the main directory, not the folder called databases.

The folder called Charts just has text copies of charts you have printed.

Your saved patterns are in the patterns folder. They can be moved to the new computer into the patterns folder.

V4 Pattern Master Programs

You can copy and paste your database into on your new comuter. It is in the folder Databases and is PMx4Charts.mdb. The database has the measurement charts and the style catalog.

The folder called Charts is just text copies of printed charts. It has no function in the program.

The folder called Stylesheets is just text copies of summary sheets. It has no function in the program.

Saved patterns las files may be copied into the new program. They will only open in PE or YC.
