I just finished a classic mock turtleneck. I used a trelana knit with 75% stretch. It doesn't have the tight fitted sleeves popular in today's fashion because I prefer the looser fit of the tapered sleeve.
Collar piece should measure 3/4 to 2/3 of the neckline and long enough to fit over head easily. The length needs to be adjusted in PE or manually. It can not be set in style editor.
I stitched the side seams and long sleeve seams at .5" instead of .375 because of the stretch of the fabric. This made it just enough tighter and I thing works better for me than scaling.

Marie: How do you get your hem to lie flat, when ever I sew with knits my hems either stretch or curl up?
JoAnn: I have an Evolve serger with coverstitch for the hem. Before I had the serger, I used a 1/2" wide piece of iron-on knit interfacing or a iron-on web to stabilize the hem before stitching.
