MAC Duel Booting Installation
Since this article was written Bootcamp is now part of the Mac Leopard OS and not a separate download. There are other programs that run on the Intel Mac. They are not free. VM Fusion and Parallels ( Est.$79.99). All require you purchase a copy of Windows XP or Vista (Est $ $200 - $300)
Virtual PC is not longer available for older Mac OS. It was discontinued by Microsoft.
In order to do this, the user needs a copy of XP Second Edition. The original version of XP will not work. The entire program must be on one disk.
You may also use Vista or Windows 7.

The first thing I did was install Bootcamp from the Apple website. The current site for this is
http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/publicbeta.html. It is free as a beta for a limited time.
I downloaded Bootcamp and printed the installation and setup instructions. A user WILL probably NOT be able to complete the set up of bootcamp unless they have those instructions. I followed the instructions step by step. They are extremely easy to use and follow.
When Bootcamp was done, I installed XP. I followed the on screen instructions for this installation and had no problems.
My installation of Bootcamp and XP went like clockwork. This process is so simple, if you follow the Bootcamp installation instructions to the letter.
The user does not have to be very sophisticated to make this work. It took me about 3 hours, but that was mostly time spent waiting for XP to load. XP should now work just as it does on a PC. That appears to be the case for me, at least.
At the end of the Bootcamp installation instructions are some guidelines for finding ways around the MAC keyboard shortcuts. They are extremely helpful given that the Windows keyboard is a bit different.
(See note below)
Today I installed my WG software and had absolutely no problems. I installed the originals, plus the Upgrades and then the Updates. Wild Things downloaded perfectly. Everything seems to be working as it should.
I hope this helps other WG MAC users!

I got my Windows keyboard to work with PM4 running on my iMac with VMFusion/XP Pro!! What I did, in case others have problems using a Windows keyboard on a Mac. In the VM Preferences go to 'Mice/Keyboard' and disable all of VM's choices on how to translate Mac keys to Windows. Since I'm using a Windows keyboard, this was unnecessary--duh. I'm so happy; everything works perfectly.
We received a questions about codeweavers. The following was the response from a Mac user who is also a programmer.
...heard of it, they use an open-source library to run many Windows applications on OS X and Linux systems. You don't actually run Windows (Unlike Parallels or VMware), just the application itself.
I've never tried it since I'm quite happy with the way Parallels works. Also, while this runs applications, it doesn't run Windows itself, and doesn't support all applications....

I just recently switched to Mac and I also love it. I really like the bluetooth keyboard - it's small and light, I can move it easily, put it in my lap, etc. It's very like the keyboard on a laptop. But it does not have a number pad, therefore no end, top, page up, page down. There are keyboard combinations that replace those, and I don't crunch numbers a lot, so I don't really miss the numberpad and I like having the small keyboard. But not having the delete key is a problem, and not just in PMB programs!
However this morning I was looking at the keyboard thinking I had tried all the combinations - cmd, opt, shift, ctrl - with the delete key and noticed the fn key in the corner. I tried that with the delete key, and IT WORKED! . So now, all is well.
