I am interested in trying some bag patterns using Peltex. I picked up up a copy of Amy Butler's bag book from the library.

What needle size and type is appropriate for such a stiff interfacing?

Does anyone have any other general advice for using this product?

I just use a regular size 80 universal needle.  If the fabric is heavy, such as upholstery or denim, you might use a size 18 jeans needle.   It's not difficult to sew.

i use whatever needle is appropriate for the fabric.  FWIW, i don't care for universal needles.
