I received a Trackman Marble as a gift.  Some things work as I expect and others not.  Oh, I got a fancy keyboard as well.  Nothing is where I expect it to be!  Not complaining, I just need some help adjusting.

Right now I am struggling with selecting objects in PE.  When I left click on an object it does not turn red.  What should I be doing?  Do I need to set something to get the left button to work with PE?

So far, the right button seems to be working the way I expect.

I have never had a problem with either button.

I have had them for many years so am use to how it feels.

May need to check your mouse settings.

Thank you Karen.  I found what I was doing wrong.  I was not clicking fast enough.  I usually use my left hand for the mouse then switch to the right when it gets tired or starts to swell.  With the TrackMan using my left hand I was clicking with the middle of my finger - not fast enough.  When I switched to my right hand I double clicked with my thumb tip.  Two fast clicks worked and then one fast click.  Mystery solved.
