Good Morning,

I am finally sewing something again! My first project is a tee-shirt with armscye princess seams. While the sewing lines match up, the seam allowances don't and I end up with a little chunk of fabric missing on my side panel where my s.a. should be. Huh?

I did a search, and the topic has come up before. According to this thread: http://wildginger.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=5431&posts=... the s.a. need to be adjusted somehow, but I am still at loss exactly how. Karen, you mentioned you had a drawing? Or can somebody else enlighten me?

Thank you.

Claudia

I mark the junction of the center and side panels and match those.  There will be a small seam allowance .25.

I use a straight pin throught both points.

You can make a note to add a bit there if you want next time you cut a princess.
