Subject: Circle skirt help

I am making a dress using a t-shirt style bodice and a circle skirt. I really don't understand the skirt pattern pieces. If anyone has any experience constructing a circle skirt, I would be grateful for their input.

The construction isn't too hard, as it only has 2 seams, but once it's attached to the bodice, you have to let it hang out at least overnight, or for a couple of days, as the bias will really stretch and your hemline will droop--assuming you're using a woven. Also, if using a woven, I would staystitch the waistline before attaching it to the top. If you're using a knit for the skirt, the hem may still be uneven, but probably not as much. You didn't mention anything about a zipper. You are going to need a zipper somewhere, even for a knit. You may have to add a back seam to your T-shirt bodice and the skirt back. This is my understanding of your question, so please clarify if this is not helping you!
