for months my laptop has been having massive problems so this weekend rudi bought me a fabulous TOUCH SCREEN desktop computer.  i love it!  i have been testing it in PE and by golly it draws brilliantly by touch!  i am so !  this is a dream i originally thought i could make happen with an external drawing pad but this is SO MUCH BETTER.

i'm reloading programs and setting all my preferences but i wanted to encourage anybody who might be interested to check it out.  this particular model is an HP but i know there are others.

oh also, this is running WIN7 64 bits with no problems whatsoever.

I am looking for a new computer, but must have a laptop - does the touch screen computer come in a laptop?

Enjoy your new toy! Susan

wow, that sounds fun. I can imagine that will come in handy for programs like photoshop.

Thanks for the tip... sadly I might have to go computer shopping soon and it's not something I look forward to.

Susan,
My daughter has an HP TouchSmart laptop that has a touch screen. She absolutely adores it. It can be either a touch tablet or a regular laptop, depending upon how you swivel the screen.

Yes, it does.  That is what I have, and it is from HP as well.  Mine is called a "convertable", because you can use it as a laptop and as a tablet.

Thanks Welmoed & Fishey, I will do my research and hope I come up with a touch computer that meets all my needs - and has the power behind it that I want.

I will keep you informed, Susan
