Subject: Zip with placket closing how to sew?

Could someone please help. I am making a bomber jacket . The front closing is going to be a zipper covered with a placket that buttons closed.  I cannot figure out how to sew it. I will try attach a picture if the opening.

I can’t tell from the pictures, but it looks similar to a pant fly zipper installation where the zip is first sewn to the fly facing (underlap) which is then sewn into the CF seam on the garment, right sides together.
