I'm looking over the possibilities of making several bridesmaids robes very simply and not having to measure or fit. They are all in the 8-12 size range in rtw sizing. I wa looking at the kimono robe as one example. I think making a lot of chest ease would do it. But I don't quite understand the illustration. Is the waistline elastic? And how does the partial band work. Has anyone made this style? In the sheaths section.

The sketch shows the Kimonno Robe with a tie, not elastic.

The main difference between 8 and 12 RTW is length.  Chest difference is 2 inch per size.

This style has a lot of design ease,.
