I think I have succeeded in copying a garment from an Internet photo my DIL picked out! (She didn't want cuffs.)

I like the top you made better than the inspiration photo. Good work!

Love the twisted cowl. What neckline settings did you use? The ones I've made in the past have been more like turtlenecks. Also, where is the fabric from? I haven't been able to find knits other than solids.

JoAnn, I used jewel neck width 4.25 (the maximum) and depth .5 both front and back. Cowl collar was 5" wide, with the seam ends offset 4" to produce the twist. I think the knit was a by-the-piece cheapie from Denver Fabrics, very lightweight with not much recovery and may not hold up well, but right colors for my DIL and very soft (she likes cozy fabrics). Usually I get knits online, from either Marcy Tilton or EmmaOnesock, and this year there were a lot of nice sweater knits, including some with horizontal striations (useful for raglans like this one because you get the directional effect without having to match stripes). But I think a lot of them are sold out now, including a couple I was going to buy when I got around to it.

Thanks, Nancy. I have some Sophia knit to make a new twisted cowl. My old ones are getting pills. I like this fabric for winter tee's, but I' like some that are not solids. I buy a lot of fabric from EOS, but haven't tried Macy Tilton.

I've been using the undarted raglan sleeve a lot lately.

Me, too. I like yours better. More fabric for the collar makes it look lavish!
