I just want to let you know that I'm still having issues printing the summary. I can print the saved style summary from windows explorer--file--but if I go from the style editor to patterns to summary I'm unable to print. It causes my program to freeze and I must exit entirely and restart windows.....it's most annoying. Shouldn't I be able to print from within the program?

Yes, certainly you should be able to print the summary from within the program. However, I am not able to duplicate the problem and have not had any other reports of this issue. My best guess is that it is something with your particular printer driver.

is there a way to load printer drivers so this doesn't happen....I can print from the pattern screen, just not in style editor...is it a windows setting? peculiar to win 10?

Karen, go to your printer manufacturer website and search for a download of the driver to your printer. The website should give you instructions on how to do it. I don't know if this is your problem, but it could be. Windows 10 drivers have not been updated entirely by manufacturers so that it is automatic.

All of our programs can only use the printer drivers as they are installed on your system. We cannot modify them or load other drivers.

It could be specific to Windows 10 if your printer driver has not been updated for it. It could also be a RAM or printer memory issue. It could also be a Windows or printer setting. Unfortunately, there is no way for me to know what the specific problem is since I cannot duplicate it.

Have you updated your printer driver for Windows 10? Have you tried setting a PDF driver as you default printer driver and then printing the summary from the program to a PDF file?

thanks..that must be it...I downloaded new win 10 drivers, but program still freezes... maybe its my mid power surface pro...i'll try the PDF writer and see if that makes a difference... next time I'm buying a full power PC.... portability isn't everything obviously!!

If you do freeze no need to restart the computer. Ctrl - Alt - Del will bring up task manager. Select Boutique to stop running.
