Hi,
Please can anyone tell me if the T Shirt and Jumper dress styles in Patternmaster Boutique, are designed to be made from Knit fabrics?

thinking about buying the Patterrnmaster Knits programme next week when the 20for20 offer is on, but wondered about these two styles in the programme I already have.

The 20 for 20 offer is good any day through 2015.

The patterns in Boutique are designed for woven fabrics. You can do with knits by adjusting ease and if desired scaling in PE.

Knits drafts from a different block designed just for knits.

IMHO: If I had only one program to buy, it would be Boutique. There is a tool for scaling (stretch gauge), so getting knits pretty much on line is quite doable.

But if you do mostly knits then PMK may be the way to go as it does have a setting for STABLE and WOVEN.

Thank you Karen, I hadn't realised that the 20for20 could be used on any day. On my previous purchases of Boutique and Childs play, I have waited until 20th of a month to buy. Have no idea where I got that from!

Patti, I already have Boutique, but after looking at peoples album photos and photos in the Knits forum, I thought I would buy Knits as well as those are the tops I am most likely to make. Where can I find the tool for scaling (stretch gauge) in Boutique as mentioned in your post above?

In boutique you need to scale in Pattern Editor.

You'll be happy with Knits. I have both and find it so much easier to use PMK with knit fabrics.
