Since I was playing around with Shelley, I decided to work on a knit jacket I want to make, unsure of exact style. i used classic, set in sleeve, yoke, mandarin collar with front & back shoulder yoke. Straight is checked, but only get an angle. Have tried all the settings several times and went out of program and came back with same result. Might check that for next update also. JoAnn

The shoulder yoke draws at angle from the shoulder point to the center front seam. Straight just means its a straight line from the shoulder point and not a curve. You cannot draw a straight horizontal line from the shoulder point to the center front to create the yoke. If your patterns look like what you see below, they are correct for the shoulder yoke.

that is what it looks like. I want a yoke straight from the armseye notch across to center front. I know I can just draw this, but please explain why it can't be drafted. i have had plenty of jackets over the years with this kind of yoke. JoAnn

You can draft that yoke. You are selecting the wrong yoke style. Select Armscye and then choose Straight.
