I've been seeing a few of these knit tops on the various sewing blogs I follow:

Any ideas on how to copy it in PMK? Is that style of collar available? If so, what it is called?

Looks like the shelley neckline.

It definitely looks like the Shelley neckline. Make it wider at the center back and then gather it for that scrunchy look.

Welmoed, I know you already know to do this, but for anyone reading this who might be a beginner, this is what I did for a similar problem.

I recently copied a neckline "collar" from an old pattern. The idea was similar to this pattern, but it does not have the lowered neckline. Clear as mud? My point is...I drafted the collar and then cut out just the top of the bodice from scraps as well as the collar and tried it on. I was so glad I did because the original pattern was way to large for me. I looked like something was trying to swallow me. I redrafted the collar and can't wait to make the entire garment.

Yep, that sure looks like it. But the "collar width at center" option is greyed out for the Shelley, as is the roll type. Is this intentional?

Also, the Popover top has a center front seam. Is there any reason why this can't be done on the fold? Or will it just lie better with a seam?

I don't think it can be cut on the fold because you need the two pieces for the collar. The collar appears to be part of the bodice. The first time I looked at it, I thought the collar was set into the bodice, but I don't think it is.

The roll type is intentionally grayed out. Its meant to be a stand up collar. The collar width at center back is enabled here for the Shelley neckline. Are you certain its grayed out? I don't see any reason why the center front cannot be cut on the fold. You can select the no closure option for that neckline and it should sew just fine.

My collar width is grayed out for Shelley. However, and probably is not supposed to work that way, if I choose shawl collar and increase the back width and then immediately change to Shelley, the shawl collar width remains. It may not save however. JoAnn

The collar width should definitely be on for the shelley neckline. Its working in PMB. Which program are you using?

Lisa, how would you finish the CF at the neckline, if this were cut on the fold?

Never mind...I just figured it out.
