Windows 10 is here.  We have tested and programs from V3 to V6 are running correctly.

When preparing to upgrade to Win 10 DO NOT DEACTIVATE your programs.

Once Win 10 installs everything should be as it was.

If you are going from Vista to Win 10, you may need to activate the program again.  This was necessary with upgrades going from Vista to Win 8.  Because we no longer have a machine with Vista we are not able to test this.

If you have a problem, before you do anything, please write to Support@Wildginger.com  Be sure to include your name and your product key so we can locate your records.

Thanks Karen.  That is the one bit of information about installing Windows 10 that I've hunted for all over the place and not found it.  Previously with Windows when upgrading the operating system one had to re-install all programs.  With Windows 10 there seemed to be a suggestion that they were going to go as Apple does - install the operating system UNDER the already installed programs and you are ther first person I've read about that confirms that.

Just a reminder to NOT uninstall or deactivate before upgrading to Win 10.

Please do a backup of your data to a safe location. You should be doing this often.

I'm still using Windows 7, and am wondering if I upgrade to Windows 10 will my customizations look the same (wallpaper, etc.)?  It seems like a small thing, but I really like the way my computer looks right now.

You should be able to still use the same wallpaper, desktop colors etc in Windows 10. It has the same personalization options as Windows 7.

I am still using Windows 7 and really am reticent to go to 10. Will I eventually no longer be able to update my software if I stay with Windows 7?

The current programs run on 7, 8.1 and 10. All programs will update with any of those windows.
