I ordered a kit from Craftsy because I liked the fabric. It included a pattern for a kimono v-neck tunic. The upper shoulder line had a bulge upwards and the sleeve was split lengthwise as a yoke front and back. i decided to make the pattern from PMB6, using my measurements from other tops which I think fit reasonably well. Now that I have it almost done (didn't make muslin), the shoulder at the arm drops backwards 1 1/2 in on the L and 1 3/4 inches on R. Will be using it for a summer nightgown, so it will be used, but I would like to know how to get the front shoulder length correct without distorting the rest of the pattern. If I tilted the entire front sleeve it would pull it around, but then it appears that it would be rotated wrong at the elbow. If I make darts with the point at the shoulder and taking in that 1 1/2 inches toward CF, it pulls the shoulder forward, but I cannot figure out how to make that a correction without also making the bust too tight. Any suggestions? I really like the overall style of the pattern and would like to try it again. JoAnn

You will need to send the style summary that includes your measurements and a picture of what you are trying to achieve to support@wildginger.com for us to be able to help you.
