I am currently making my fit garments. When I insert the sleeves, do I have to do it with the side, and sleeve seams already stitched, or can I insert the sleeve and then sew the sleeve and side seams all in one?

I note that I need to trim the seam close to stitching line below the front rectangle and back circle markins as per the guide sheet, I just thought I might be able to do a better job with the sleeve flat.

This type of sleeve needs to be eased into the armhole so you need to sew the bodice side seams and the sleeve underarm seams first.

Don't worry about how the sleeve looks. Just get it in.
