Hello I am hoping I can resolve this without sending pictures. I am doing my fitting dress and all my bagging is in the upper back area which is considered a narrow back. My shoulder are good and my waist down is good but in the upper back right at the underarm line I pull in about 2 1/2 to 3 inches. I want to know what do I adjust in my measurement so I can default this difference. Do I change the darts or shoulder to waist measurement or something else.

Thank you
Vernita

Retake measurements for bust line, back shoulder width, and shoulder length. Read through help files on 1) taking measurements and 2) fitting garments. Good luck; you'll get it.

THe back shoulder may be too wide.
Is your bust measure divided more or less evenly between front and back? Are you larger in the front than the back? (I used to be by quite a bit) If so than possibly repositioning the underarm seam, would remove excess form the back and place it in the front.
It really is difficult without seeing .

it sounds like the same problem as I had. I agree without pictures very hard to give advice. I had a lot extra vertically between shoulder blades mainly between underarm and neck.
My adjustment was making the
1.back shoulder width narrower and leave out the back shoulder dart.
2. Lower the underarm. The fabric could not relax to under the arm so was forced to bunch between the shoulder blades.
It did take me 4 slopers to get what I wanted.
If you send a picture I am sure you will be helped.

Without seeing the measurements and pictures any answer would be a guess.

Please send your chart and three pictures, a full front, back and side view to support@wildginger.com

Narrow back, I wish I had that problem. You should be able to get a good fit. We wide backed people are so envious.

Please be patient because I will be sennding the summary and pictures I know how important this first garment is. It will make all my other designs fast and easy... I think
