I seem to be going in circles!  I've entered measurements and saved chart. I want to fill in fit defaults.  Help indicates "Set Fit Defaults" from file menu. There is no "Set" only "Edit", but it's greyed out anyway. Help!

Every avenue I try has me saving the pattern, even though I've not changed anything from the first save.  How many times must one save a pattern?

And last, but not least, these programs have always been slow for me no matter which computer I use.  I do have Norton products on my laptop, is that causing the programs to be slow?

Thanks for any help you can recommend as I'm feeling very frustrated....

You must be in a garment type screen for Edit Defaults to become active.

Did you run upgrade Wizard to bring in your V5 info? If not, do that first.

You don't list what windows you have. Norton may be making it slow. Also running some programs in the background can do this. My laptop is also slower than my desk machine.

Garment type screen, ok, missed that.

Did not run wizard, just re-entered my measurements.

Windows 7. I'll check background, etc......thanks, Karen. Once again you come through just when I'm ready to scream!!! LOL

My computer is 3-4 years old and I find it quite slow at times. I've managed to clean it up a bit but I still find Patternmaster runs faster if I close out most of the rest of my windows. I suspect it likes more memory, but I'm not sure.

Thanks, Sue. I'll try that, too.
