I've uploaded a couple of photos of some new knit tops that I made based on the kimono top draft with a slightly flared part below the waist. I've been seeing a lot of patterns with an extended sleeve out so thought I would try to draft one using PMB. They turned out well and were easy to sew.

The dolman and kimono drafts are my favorites. I rarely make set in sleeves. I don't like how they feel.

Love these.
What were your settings? Did you raise the armhole or do any other changes?

Beautiful tops.

I'd love it if you could share your settings.

With my left arm being bigger than my right, I need a deeper armhole on the left side. I'm thinking this style might be good for me without having to draft a left and right separately as I am doing now.

Those are really nice looking.  Love the fabric, too.

The settings are as follows:
The neckline is a jewel neckline in back and curved v in front. 1.5 inches in back and on the side. 5 inches in the front.
The sleeves are 4 inches long, the armhole depth was dropped 2 inches.
Top was 30 inches long, fitted side seam, flared hemline (4) and straight hemline. Also I drew the hemline straight from the middle out instead of the normal curve.
I did not sew any of the waist darts and the ease was left at the default.
The neckline was finished with a band. I left a 5 inch slit on the side seams . The sides appear to drop down but not nearly as dramatically as some tops.

Thanks so much Marilyn. I'm going to give this a try.
