My daughter has requested sleepers or pajamas for her 7 month old twin boys.  My other daughter has 4 and 6 year old boys.  Can I make the patterns with Tailor Made?  I have looked at the epatterns.com, but would prefer to use my own software if possible.

Should be able to do pants for the 4 and 6 year old. You will get warnings when you enter measurements, but you can enter them. You will also need to reset crotch depth from default.

7 month olds grow so fast it's easier to buy sleepers.

I was gonna try and measure them this week, double the measurements for entry to TM, then print pattern 1/2 size. Is that a feasible strategy? She wants grown up pajama look. They have a lot of sleepers already. What we do for our kids!  At least they are twins and pretty much the same size.

Mike, I did that for a My Size Barbie in PMB and it worked. I took her measurements, doubled them and printed out 1/2 size patterns. I did have to lengthen the sleeves and pant legs by hand. But, Barbie has unrealistic measurement for arms and legs.

No,need to double and print half size. It should take the measurements. Just ignore the messages that they are out of range.

Karen, are you saying that it would work for Barbie, too?

No, Barbie dolls are very tiny. Children are not that small compared to adults. Barbie's are.

I just compared my measurements to a size 4 -6.  If I am 100% the child measurements are 66% of mine.

My Size Barbie is 36" tall. She is not the tiny doll. I use her all the time to try out designs. My daughters always say, "Barbie gets all the good stuff." These dolls were only made for a short period of time. She is fun to sew for because she never complains about the fit.

You need to send me the measurements so I can test.

Margie..had a db from you and saw Barbie.

Her real measurements are too small. You need to double like you did.
