If you plan to reformat your computer go to System tools and deactivate your programs.  Depending on your email settings we will automatically get a notice so we can reset or you will need to send the text info to us to reset.

A reformatted computer will come through with a new id, making the unlock system think it is a different computer.

When in doubt, write to us so we can have you ready to go.

Also, ask for new setup file links so you will be downloading recent file.  May still need to run the update, but better than putting in a 3 year old or more setup file.

Lisa has updated the Wiki Article on Moving to a New computer.

Info will also help when you reformat your system.

I can tell there are changes coming....should I be looking at the surface pro 3? What is the next thing coming? My win7 system died and I'm back to my old vista 32 so I know I'll need to upgrade soon.....any recommendations? I' love to be able to sit on the sofa with a tablet like device and play with my PMB. :-)

The Surface Pro 3 is certainly a possibility. I believe it runs Windows 8 not RT and if so, it should run our software. Style Editor should work fine for the most part with the touch screen. You will still need a mouse or track pad to use PE. Trying to edit with your fingers is not fun.
