This is a semifitted through the waist dress with side drapes.  Fabric is a soft poly.

Here is the pattern showing how I changed the hem.

 Flare is dropped 6 inches from the waist.  Flare is 10.  I drew the straight hem for added drape.

Thinking of doing this dress again in a turquoise fabric from the stash.  I like dresses in the summer.

I use the kimono with the square armhole. I raised the armhole 1.75 inches. This was based on a fit test of the top. I cut it just below bust level since I just needed to check on the sleeves. The drape will work with most styles.
