Did some embroidery for Halloween costumes for Agnes who will be a princess and Oscar who will be a knight.

The crown is Embroidery Library.  I made some changes.  Instead of all embroidery I used a gold metallic fabric as an applique and just added the decorative designs.  I moved the outline stitches to the end of the design and added gold fabric on the back to cover the stabilizer and bobbin stitches.  I am making a gold circle to sew the crown to.  The design calls for elastic.

The crest for the Knight is a combo of the Plaque from Adorable You Software and the lion from Embroidery Library.    At first I just added the lion that the program put entirely within the crest.  I then changed it and saved the crest separately and added the lion so sit overlapped a bit.  I thought I liked the look better.

Will go to Oak Park next week to sew the full costumes.

What nice time for you this is! And what lucky kids! I only two this year and one of them needed the costume ( Tarzan's Jane) that I made for her Mom taken up! Now THAT's scary!

Adorable, Karen.

Kids grow so fast, don't they? I can't believe they're so big already.
