There really isn't anything you CAN'T do with PMB!

This year's Smithson gown is done and ready to show off at tonight's gala at the National Zoo. I made the dress and the bolero with PMB (the dress hem was modified in PE and by hand). The jacket is fully reversible.

Welmoed, did you tell us what fabric you used, and I missed it?

Did you have a good time?

The fabric came from Jo-Anns, believe it or not, and is a printed poly. The red is a suedecloth, also from Jo-Anns. On the way to the Gala, we stopped at the store so we could show the staff the finished product. By the way, I highly recommend doing this... The staff at my local store says they very rarely get to see what their customers make.

And yes, we had a marvelous time. Our table was right next to the lion's enclosure, and he kept making the most interesting calls throughout the evening. Not really a roar, but loud nonetheless!
