Can anyone recommend a snap applicator?
I'm making a bag from Lisa Lam's book, The Bag Making Bible, and it requires a snap on each end so that the opening can be smaller or larger.
Since I'm going to get one, I thought it would be a good idea to get one that can be used for different sizes of snaps.

I like the magnetic snaps for purses that don't need an applicator. They are very easy to install.

FYI - On the topic of snap applicators (not very relevant to bag-making), I have found snaps and a snap applicator that I like a lot better than the one Dritz sells.

This bag does use a magnetic snap for the main closure. But then snaps are applied to each end. Then the ends can be folded in and snapped together, so that it's a good-sized purse. When I need more room, I can unsnap the ends and it's more like a tote bag.
Thanks for the link to SnapSource. I remember using one of those years ago ( I probably still have it somewhere.) Simple to use and inexpensive.

Another vote for Snapsource. I've not used it in bags but love to use the larger snaps instead of a Jeans button.

Definitely the SnapSource snaps. They are by far the best.
