I'm making place mats to go on a circular table that has a 38" diameter. I drew a circle in PE with a diameter of 36. Now I'd like to divide that circle into segments to create my place mats, but I'm not having any luck. The circle won't break into segments, nor will it cut with the scissors tool.

So, how should I go about doing this?

No, the Scissors and Segment tools do not work on circles. You need to use arcs instead.

It's a little more work, but use the arc tool, and place your points on it and then draw your line to center , cut your pie shapes.
I've done it right over the circle so that I knew the size and shape was correct.

Thanks. I'll give it a try.
