Regular Posts: 54 ![]() ![]() | When I design something new, I use whatever paper pattern I have that most closely resembles it. I use easel size 1" graph paper for my drawing. I want to create this is several sizes. The first one I created using first, a sheath with shoulder princess seams, and then a sheath with raglan sleeves. I merged the two and came up with the pattern, thanks to the 1" grid on the easel paper. I think it's going to take a lot of work to make it in different size. I'm up for the challenge. Regular Posts: 54 ![]() ![]() | It's foldover lingerie elastic. It's so easy to apply. First I bound the edges of the sleeve cutout with it. Then I sewed the front, back and sleeves together. I started at the center back, binding the raw edge of the top back, sewed the foldover elastic all by itself for 8", bound the front neckline, another 8" of the foldover elastic, and then joined in the back. | ||
