Karen, Thanks for your feedback on knits. For us rookies, it's very helpful to have knowledgeable people point us in the right direction.

I ordered samples in many colors of Sophia from Vogue and purchased the only 2 that I can wear. Would really like to see it in the golden yellows, bright reds and the few blues that I can wear with my soft autumn coloring. I'm really getting tired of all the browns and yellow-greens I've been wearing the last few years. Maybe when the spring colors come in.

There is another company at Puyallup with sophia knits. Will drop by later this afternoon to,see if they do Internet sales. They had a soft lime and a dark teal.

Sophia is a modern double knit, usually a blend of poly, rayon and lycra.

It's also sold as Diana knit. They both have the same fiber content percentages and color names, but the Diana knit I purchased through Sewing Studio seems slightly heavier than the Sophia knit I've purchased from Fabric.com and Vogue.
