My husband thought he had just sprained his ankle. X-rays revealed a break in one of the bones. He's now in a splint, awaiting an appointment on Monday to have it set in a cast. In the meantime, he needed something to cover the splint to keep his foot warm, as we keep our house pretty cool. Wild Things to the rescue! I printed out the Bootie pattern and whipped one up. Start to finish: about 10 minutes.

I love Wild Ginger!!

He's stylin' and he knows it!
Animal print booties are all the rage this year .
I hope he heals quickly, then he'll need another bootie to match!

Great fun! But it's hard to do house inspections with your foot up!
