Hello. It's me again. I still haven't sewn the stretch lace ( or even cut it out!) But I do have an idea of what I am going to d o with it. Now I have found another piece of fabric in my stash which i would like to make into a dress to wear for Christmas events. I've already bought the shoes to match. This fabic stretches lengthways rather than crossways. If I cut it with the stretch running up and down the dress, will it grow and grow or if I cut it widthways would I be able to treat it as normal fabric, or do I need to reduce ease to avoid looing like I'm wearing a sack? Maybe I should sew something soon! Or just cut out buttonholes and sew on buttons on a garment from PMB5.

I would cut with the stretch going around.  Most likely you will want to scale, but this can depend on the style and your shape.

The weight and the fiber content of the fabric would effect your decision on style and how to lay it out also wouldn't it

The fabric is wide enougth to make a dress with the stretch going around. Got to run out of the door soon, so will try to attach drawing of style tonight.
