Tech Support ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Location: Colorado Springs, CO | Here is a first project. I think it's fantastic. She had a good sloper. Not sure it was "perfect", but you guys know how I feel about perfect slopers. Only if you plan to wear it in plain cotton with lines. I advise once the slopers looks OK is make something simple. I think this dress is so cute. Really looks good on her. It is really a simple garment, but the fabric choices make is spectatular. I really like the sweetheart neckling on her. I'll put up some other views later today. (BL first Dress.jpg) Attachments ---------------- ![]()

A first like that would encourage anyone to design and sew like crazy. Could you post the settings used on this dress? I love the sweet heart neckline but it sould be a little low for me. Lovely fit and the fabric choices complement both her design choices and her figure.

Member Posts: 43 ![]() Location: Denmark | Thank you for the nice comments. I love my new dress, and yes, I am certainly inspired to do a lot of garments in PMB. And the help from you Karen is very outstanding. I have never before bought a program with this kind of service! And to you Maria, yes it is a empire waist. I use that all the time because i think it is a very flattering shape. Karen is welcome to upload my settings (I don't really know how). Berit

I've never seen that! For me, that's what makes the dress so unique and so good looking. That is what you did, right? Tessa Edited by TessainGabriola 2011-08-30 10:31 PM

Elite Veteran Posts: 743 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That is a SPECTACULAR dress - exactly what I would go for if I were in a store! I love black and white and empire lines. I can't tell from the photos what you did with the sleeve - the detail obviously doesn't show up well on the black. It looks like maybe you did elastic or something a couple of inches above the sleeve hem - or it's just the weave of the fabric and the way the light caught it. Very well done! Pam PS We need a 'like' button on the forum. LOL

It looks a little above it to me, or do you mean that the skirt portion is slightly cinched in at the waist? Love that dress, well done. Claudia

Elite Veteran Posts: 743 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think I'm going to have to play with this design, thank you! My shape NEEDS waist/bust shaping and then not much around the hips, the bane of my life. LOL Black and white RULES! Seriously. That dress is Designer! Pam
