The raw edges on bands or neck facings were serged after stitching to the neck openings.  The bands or facings were then, turned, then top stitched (no cover stitch machine). Bands are 3/4" finished width.  Cuffs and hems raw edges were serged then turned and topstitched with double needle (1"finished width). Thank to everyone for all the nice comments.

The neckline bands or facings were serged after stitching to neck opening.  The bands and facings were turned, under stitched, then top stitched (no cover stitch machine).  Cuffs and hems were serged, turned and top stitched with twin needle. I used soluble stabilizer strips over the feed dogs to minimize tunneling.  Bands are 3/4" finished width; cuffs and hems are 1".  Thanks for all the comments and for all the suggestions and help with the bands and facings.

Great T's, nice looking fabrics and neck finishes.

It's funny how cats seem to make their way into photos!
Yours matches the flooring

That cat!  In to everything and all the time.  I had tried to keep him at bay while getting the shirts and camera out, but he was everywhere the minute I took my eyes off him.  Not quite a year old, so pretty much a kitten in a grown cat's body.

Very nice. I like making t-shirts. They're so quick and easy.
