I have made a pair of mens jeans using PMT V5 and the classic jeans style and a slack crotch cut. My crotch length was entered as 26in. The jeans come up about 2in above the waistline and when I measure them they measure about 32in from top of waistband front to top of waistband back. How can I lower the waistband, should I simply reduce the crotch length by 4 or 5 inches?

Classic jeans usually default with setting in the waist drop. The crotch length is measured to the seam between the torso and the band. It does not include the waistband. Where was the waist for the fit pants? If the crotch length is correct for the fit pants the position of the waist is adjusted with settings. You can sent your jeans summary and saved las pattern file to firstname.lastname@example.org so I can take a look.

Thanks for your response. I have found the problem it seems I saved the style with an incorrect crotch length and failed to resave it after updating the measurement chart. This showed up when I looked at the saved summary before sending it to you. My bad, I'll try again!
