I'm using a border print with print at the top and bottom. I think I've got the front and back lined up so the top print will match. I matched it at the underarm seam. How do I place the sleeve pattern so the top print will match? Do I line it up at the underarm seam?

I don't have enough info to help.
Mine was a boucle with lots of woven colors but did have a definite horizontal thread about every 1.25 inches. I have the white thread matching from the underarm down on sleeve and bodice. It does not match on the sleeve cap because of the rounded shape and the easing.

Pat, the easiest and least stressful way to match the sleeves is to cut the bodice front and back first. Lay either one on top of the fabric where you want to cut the sleeve and match the design. You do have to take into account the SA if that will affect the match. Then put your sleeve on the fabric and cut. (Remove the bodice.) Sometimes, the back bodice and the front bodice with both match up, sometimes not. You get to decide which one you want to match. But, if you matched the bodice pieces before you cut them, they should match up with the sleeve. It depends upon how much ease you have in the sleeve. If there is a lot, the design will not match at the top of the sleeve.
