Location: Houston, TX | Sorry about this. It took a while to learn how to export then import to WG. Here are the pics along with my comments. Thanks.
Kimora. What I like is the extended "collar" in front. I also can't figure out how to do the sleeves. In one version of Curves there was a Kimona style; but no longer.

| Trad kimono collar is not like that at all - the stand part of the collar is not a fold, it is a seamline. There is a slight setback at the back neck, but the whole trick is the way you sew the straight collar band around the near rightangle formed where front and back pieces join. It is very difficult to do by machine.
This site shows a straight collar being sewn on to a toddler's cotton yukata kimono.

Location: Houston, TX | Dotmall, thank you (glad for google translate). I wonder if a bias band, instead of straight grain, for just the back collar piece would work. I sure wish Curves, or PMB, had a pattern as I'm not very good at drawing a pattern. I loved this website. Lots of good info. |

| Strip is cut straight on the grain, not bias. |
