Karen, You and your software confuse me. I have used other pattern drafting software before and I have never had as many problem getting a usable pattern out of the program with the my measurements entered. I am very frustrated by your program. I am also frustrated with your support. I never get full answers from you. I bought this program to get a better fit easier. It is very difficult to make major adjustments on your self. I have sent you pictures of my test shorts, I do not know what to do next. I re-measured my waist and it is 3" smaller. Where do I go next? I will do a long pants and send you pictures but I do not see how I can adjust them.

I have not checked my morning email yet, but was waiting to get an answer from you about your fitting pants. Before you do any garments with Boutique it is important you do the fitting garments to confirm you have the correct measurements.
I'll be doing email soon and once I read about the fitting pants and see the fitting pants pictures I will have more answers about the shorts.

What a great article. The pictures really make it much easier to understand. I continue to use your method on each new pant pattern I make. Having vertical and horizontal lines marked makes it so much easier to see where the problem is.

Why did you think you neede to change to Wild Ginger? I have found the fit to be great and the customer service to be top-notch with WG. You really need to do the fitting garments first then send Karen photos - full length front, back and side view.

Carol, I second Sarah. If you had a useable pattern fron My Pattern Designer, why did you switch? I find that WG asks for the most measurements. I think that helps get a good fit. I also think that the *absolute best* part of WG is the personal customer support. email, forums and phone. Even Lisa, the actual programmer and sewer, will answer. Plus, the group in the forum is terrific. Supportive, encouraging and patient.
