Hi,

I am not aware of any way to save posts in the forums. The only thing I can recommend is that you print them to a PDF file or copy the text to a Notepad file.

I bookmark any that I want to save, just change the name of the thread.

Yep, that would work too. You can also create a folder in Favorites and save the link there.

Be aware that bookmarks only work until someone deletes the post you have bookmarked!

Yes, many times I've tried to go back to a tutorial or an interesting post, and it has disappeared.

No more tho - I use EverNote now, and I save everything with tags....and it will be there as long as I want it to be! It is not dependent on whether or not a website is still up.

You can save a selection (whatever you highlight) an article, or an URL. I never choose the latter, but will save many complete articles (with pictures most of the time) or just a few sentences when it's posted in a forum like this. It's very easy - I love it!

I keep clips of notes in Evernote, a free application, for Mac Windows etc. You can access it from any computer, and it also synchronises between computers. You can give the notes a heading and keep them in Files.

If you have a Mac another application I use is Devonthink Personal, this is similar to Evernote without the synch facility.

Hope this helps.

Cynthia
